What is done during your pet sitting time?
We will customize a plan specifically for you and your pet(s).
Our in-home pet sitting includes:
- Walk, play, and/or provide TLC time
- Clean and fill water and food bowls
- Litter box cleaning and/or waste removal
- Pet area (crate, cage, or bed) clean-up
- Administer medication
- Special needs provisions
- Email or text updates with photos
- Perform any add-on services
Other services, as requested, are provided complementary, such as:
- Alternating lights/curtains
- Mail/Newspaper retrieval
- Water plants
- Take trash cans to the curb on garbage day
- Other special requests
What is your cancellation policy?
Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Cancellations
Unless special arrangements are made in advance, Colleen’s Critter Sitters requires notice of cancellation 48 hours prior to the first visit. Notice 24 hours prior to first visit will result in 50% of the total invoice for the scheduled service payable by the pet owner. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the first visit will result in 100% of the total invoice for the scheduled service payable by the pet owner.
Overnight and Exclusive Package Cancellations
Unless special arrangements are made in advance, Colleen’s Critter Sitters requires notice of cancellation 7 days prior to the date of the first visit. Notice provided less than 7 days prior to the first visit will result in 50% of the total invoice for the scheduled service payable by the pet owner. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the first visit will result in 100% of the total invoice for the scheduled service payable by the pet owner.
Holiday Cancellations
If you cancel a reservation for a holiday service prior to 7 days before the service, you will be charged for 50% of the total invoice for the scheduled holiday service. If you cancel a reservation for a holiday service within 7 days of service, you will be charged 100% of the total invoice for the scheduled holiday service.
Early Return Policy
Unless special arrangements are made in advance, no refunds will be given for early returns once a service has started. If the reservation is modified for an early return prior to the start of the service, the above cancellation policies apply.
Why is this your cancellation policy?
Colleen’s Critter Sitters takes great pride in providing great service for our clients and excellent care for their special pets as well as taking care of our valuable pet sitting contractors. Our cancellation policies help ensure fairness to everyone involved.
While we understand that our clients’ plans can change, at times completely out of their control, once we have booked a service and committed time to a client, we may turn away other clients’ requests. We believe our cancellation policies help strike a balance between accommodating changes in our clients’ plans and keeping space open in our schedule for other clients’ requests. Our pet sitting contractors also adjust their schedules based on clients’ bookings and may turn down other work as a result.
We are always happy to discuss special arrangements when booking a service and modify our cancellation policy as appropriate for individual situations.
